What is time? One foot after another, the ticking of the clock, life passing us by.
In my opinion, linear time comprises the human perspective of sequences of moments of human experience. I actually think that there is no such thing as “time” the way most people think that there is!
There is truth or sense in the adage, “yesterday is history, the future is a mystery and today is the present.” Sometimes, before we know it, today has passed and in a blink of an eye, the future is the long-ago past! Such is the curiosity of “time.”
And what to do about this concept we call “time” is to make the most of every moment of your life.
How will you make your moments count? Will you choose LOVE or the absence of love, which is fear? Concern is reasonable, and in fact, is an essential human trait, but not when it spirals into lingering anxiety or stress that impacts your health or into worry bordering upon hysteria.
Make use of the non-refundable time that you have by knowing what you want and that you are one-hundred percent worthy of being and having what you want. As a spirit or soul in human form, you need to be organized and have the information and plans to put actions into effect.
But your spiritual dimension leads. Without a strong connection to Source or God, call it what you will, your human actions will become rote or automatic without much joy or enthusiasm, and your goals may dissipate.
Spirituality is not going to church or giving to the poor or following a religion. It is about feeling and living a true connection or relationship to Source. And Source or God is sound and light and frequency that birthed matter including human beings.
Source gifted human beings with free will. Over eons of time, this free will was misused to create miscreations, manifesting as the imbalances that we witness today. This is even more reason to treasure and wield your free will wisely.
Use your free will to have a positive outlook on life from moment to moment. Over “time” our bodies age, but some say that this was not always intended by our creator. Still, we are made of flesh and blood and have full self-responsibility for looking after our own health and fitness, to the best of our abilities.
Health challenges may be able to be addressed through prayer, faith, positivity, and seeking knowledge and resources that can help. There’s a saying that “time heals” and this is about the self-healing abilities of the body, coupled with faith and prayer.
Scientists say that “time” is a measure of change. How that change is brought about is up to individual choices and actions and to the collective.
Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity states that space and time are part of a four-dimensional structure where everything thing that has happened has its own coordinates in spacetime. The past and even the future are there in spacetime – making everything equally important as the present.
If each “Now” is an arrangement of everything in the universe, consider that each “Now” is potentially accessible. Time is not refundable because there’s no such thing as linear time.
“Events” by labels or descriptions are words for a given time and location at which something might happen or does happen.
Thus, with intent, you can consciously dip into a desired “timeline” where what you want happens.
This, of course, requires knowing what you want and believing that the series of “events” to create what you want will happen. Belief is not vain hope or wishful thinking but a dedicated focus or adherence to your desires.
Attempts to turn back the clock or to wish that something happened or didn’t happen in the “past” are futile. Your energy is best spent whole-heartedly or with one hundred percent commitment focused on what you want and having faith that it is possible.
Not only is it possible, but the more positive energy that you give it, the more likely it is.
Thich Nhat Hanh talks about staying in the present moment even if it is distressful. Sending light and love to your body helps, as does acknowledging, calming and transforming unwanted or unpleasant e-motions.
Lauren Lee gives a wonderful meditation for slowing down your mind and resting your body. Using the 5 steps from Buddha, recognition, acceptance, embracing, looking deeply, and positive insight, you can make the most of your “time”.
Instead of trying to turn back the clock, have a deep acceptance that what’s happened in the “past” can’t be undone, and make your wisest (most loving) choice in the moment NOW.

I love your perspective on time the points you raise Celine and its something we should all reflect on. I agree wholeheartly with you when you say that trying to change the clock or go back in time is futile. I'm a firm believer in focusing on the present and also creating the future through using our minds and bodies to get on the frequency of what we want.
