Marisa Peer explains that when we are obsessed with wanting something or always wanting material goods or we can’t get enough of something, it can mean or reflect that we don’t feel good enough internally.
But we are all born “enough”. Peace, love, happiness, and good health are your birthrights. If you don’t feel that you are enough, then you may try to fill yourself up by getting things from your external world.
Once you sustain your self-worth, self-esteem, and self-confidence, you no longer need to be looking for the next “fix”, the next temporary object or thing that you thought would fill you up.
Explore the possibilities to fulfill your wishes, for example, you want money so that you can leave an unsatisfactory job. You may be able to get a new job, a supplementary income, draw upon superannuation, win the lottery or go in competitions or borrow.
It’s okay to want more money or love or more of something, but don’t let it get a hold of you! There’s no benefit in obsessing over it. You may not need more money to achieve certain goals, you can save more, or perhaps you can plan to use what money you do have, and trust that you will be able to bring in more when you want it.
Imagine you have what you want and take action steps towards getting it, and then LET GO. Surrender it to the Divine Plan.
In the meantime know that you are enough to be able to manage or deal with your current situation while having faith that, with the internal and external work on your part, it can change to your liking.
You are empowered enough to take the next right step toward fulfilling your goals!
Never beat yourself up. We are all human as well as Divine. FORGIVE yourself for anything you feel/think you haven’t done “right”, for we are all human be-ings traveling through Life with “speed bumps” and “learning curves.” Nobody is perfect.
You are more than enough. Society and acceptance of its paradigms have resulted in you sometimes thinking that you are NOT enough. But as Marisa Peer takes you through, you will discover that you are brilliant, worthy, competent, confident, and needed.
